'True Links', a remarkable book by George Peper and Malcolm Campbell, originally published in 2010, highlights just 246 links golf courses around the globe. Among these, it includes only one course from South Africa: Humewood, a distinguished layout founded by Colonel Stafford Vere Hotchkin in 1931.

St Francis Links

The course at St Francis Bay is situated slightly inland from the coast and showcases numerous links characteristics, with fairways designed across rugged, undulating sandy landscapes.
